I have these on my radiators and they''re WAY too loud. I''ll never use them at 100% as that''s just ridiculousness. I should have gotten the 3000rpm ones. That being said these are very good fans and manage to pull heaps of air though a restrictive radiator while running at a low rpm. These really are the only fans to use (being 25mm) if you want descent cooling as apposed to most fans which despite there specifications fail to pull any significant air though a radiator.

Need to Move lots of air? Try the Gentle Typhoons

I purchased a pair of these fans and installed them in my CM Storm SF19 laptop cooler, and they are doing an excellent job of keeping my laptop cool. At idle they are whisper quiet, but at max RPM they live up to their names! In the photos the blades are attached to one another by a ring at the tips. I think this what helps the fan deliver maxium performance no matter what RPM''s it is operating at. They deliver excellent cooling, at a resonable price.

CFM? Yes. Quiet? NO

I must have different standards when it comes to noise than the other people reviewing these. I hooked one up to a lian li 4 speed fan controller. Of course high speed is loud and I expected that. 3/4 speed is almost as loud. 1/2 speed is still pretty noisy. I can''t say about 1/4 speed because when I set the fan controller to low - the fan stops spinning. My other cheapo fans are much quieter and they will spin on the lowest setting of the fan controller. For airflow these things rock. If you want a quiet PC look elsewhere.

Bought 3 of this for my RX360 and connected to a fan controller. It''s quiet, and the air flow is just awesome! Never try, never know. The best fan I have ever bought. Gonna get another few for my new coming PC case.

Need to push air? Gentle Typhoon fans will do the job!

This fan runs ultra quite at idle rpm, and at max setting the noise is not annoying as other fans I have used running at max speed. What really made me happy with my purchase is the Gentle Typhoon pushes air like it was designed to. I installed this on my CM Storm SF-19 laptop cooler as a replacement and I was impressed by how much it brought the temps down. When the other OEM 140mm fan breaks I will replace it with a Gentle Typhoon. I think the secret to the Gentle Typhoon''s output is having all the blades connected to each other as seen in the photos. I believe this keeps the fans from vibrating so much and run quieter at its maximum setting.

Pretty DAMN good undervolted!

Running them at 2100-2200ish RPM. VERY quite at that speed. Have 2 sitting on a H-50. I''ve turned them up to full speed and they are deffinitly loud. Must get a fan controller for them. Worth the money spent!
