Cools my 3930k nicely

I put this on my 3930k and it does a great job, I have a casual overclock of 4.3GHz and it stays around 28-32C on idle. Stock at 3.2 it runs at around 26-28C idle. I clipped off the LEDs it came with and soldered on some red ones, looks awesome.

great block especially with kit

I got this block with the rx360 d5 kit and it is awesome (i guess this kit isn''t available anymore?) my cpu idles at 28 degrees and at 4.8 with 1.392 volts it stays under 80 at full load prime 95 10+ hours. Frozencpu shipped fast and the kit was easy to assemble

great block - highly recommended.

Easy to install. The tops of the posts remove more easily than every copper edition I''ve installed. The LED slots are a nice addition over the cooper and black versions. I don''t have measurements to back it up but it feels like it removes a little less heat than the cooper edition just based on various burn in test metrics. High quality, low fuss, recommended for 2011 installs.

Excellent Block

Great block, love the Style of it, I did not care much for the LED that came with for that the burnt out already for some reason. but other then that I would recommend this block to any one looking for a new one

Replaced my high end Noctua NH-D14 air cooler. Core i7 2600k on Noctua @4.7Ghz 1.38vcore prime95 at 72C, this water block brought temps down to 55c. Was able to bring CPU up to 5Ghz stable at 1.5vcore at 70c full prime95 load with RX360 radiator, swiftech MCP655-B pump. FrozenCPU shipped same day Friday, chose basic ground, received order next day in NY on Saturday! One of the factory mount screws had bad threads, FrozenCPU sent out a new screw kit right away!

I''m stupid

I just gave a poor review because of mounting issues. Then I found on frozen cpu the instructions that were not on XSPC web site or in the box. My bad.

socket 2011

The performance of this block very good. BUT if you are using on socket 2011 you will not be happy. Instructions fail to tell you that removal of socket back plate is necessary because rather than use hardware conpatable to the back plate that standard on socket 2011 MB''s. XSPC decided they need to use thier own back plate which by the way does not line up perfectly and screw holes do not touch the mother board. Like up and into holes of MB like the standard one does. All that makes it almost impossible to mount. What they should have donr is use screws/bolts that are of the same thread size as standard on socket 2011 MB. I can not communicate my frustration enough on this VERY stupid way of mounting on socket 2011 MB. Avoid or use different hardware to mount is all I can say. I try not to give negative reviews on things mostly because so many neg reviews are left by people that don''t have a clue or for stupid reasons. But mounting this with supplied hardware is simply unacceptable in what a PITA it is. Gave 2 rating because block seems to perform well after finally installed.

Fantastic block!!!

Mounting it was pretty straightforward and fairly easy. I replaced my Swiftech Apogee XT Rev 1 which in its own right a very good block. However, after reading some reviews, this block had the LOWEST restriction and the second lowest temperatures. Which my new systems temps can verify. I dropped about 5 Celsius from my previous CPU block temps and an additional 4 Celsius from my GPU block as well. Overall, I would say I my temps have dropped 9-10 Celsius. The LED''s give it a nice "swag" factor as well.

The perfect water block

You''ve seen the reviews and awards, so get it! Mounts pretty much any intel socket (AMD kit is separate). The block has 4 plugs in which you may place the two supplied blue LEDs (or buy your own color). The effect is awesome. The mounting is a pain, but a solid hold. The bottom is a very flat and very tight fit to the processor chip. Comes with enough thermal paste for plenty of applications. This is one of the best blocks at not restricting flow and I imagine it will rise in popularity quickly. Perfect price, excellent value, and top-notch performance. Would recommend in a heart-beat to any new build.
