Bigger may be better

I thought it would be big, but wow. Ended up upgrading my case to a P180. Removing the top fan (which may have not been necessary) made install easy with this mobo. Outstanding performance, CPU barely runs over room temp at 1400 rpm. If I turn it all the way down to 1000 it barely gets warm with slightly overclocked P4 2.40B.

Great Cooling for great price

As the other reviewer said, its a little bigger in size than expected. But it fit great in my P180 case (may not fit in all cases). It might seem a little heavy for a fan but it is perfectly ok. Though it''s a pain to install, make sure you have someone to help you keep it in position while you screw it on. If not done properly the thermal compound may not spread evenly. Pros: Very slient, comes with a controller and does great cooling. With a closed case, room temp. 75 f +, the cpu temp in Asus Utility (not perfectly accurate) was below 65 f (18 c), while i was playing fear on the machine. Definitely the best cooling for the price.

Good cooler, tough install

This cooler is much bigger than I imagined, but that isn''t necessarily a bad thing. Unless, however, you have even a semi-tight space to work with. I have a Lian-Li PC-65 case with removable motherboard tray, and once installed with the cooler, I couldn''t slide it back in. I had to remove the entire motherboard, install the cooler, then put the mobo back in the case. I''m happy with the decent temp drop I''ve seen on my Opteron 165.
