Just as the others said it needs to be lapped very good but it is a perfect fit for my core i7 cpu. Very nice.

like in the other review it needs to be lapped. make sure you get some sand paper and a lapping kit. exceptional thickness for peltier cooling and a good workout to get the surfice to the desired smothness

the bad: the surface is rough, and will need lapping for best results...
