Got 2 of these fans about 26 mounts ago. I got them because Im a bit paranoid with heat buildup in my pc case. I built a custom gaming case using 2 mid towers riveted together. I went ajenced the recommendations and hade 1 as an intake and the other as an out take. Basically making the case a wind tunnel lol. Theo obscenely loud compared to slandered fans I had no heat issues ever. I took the intake fan out (to make room for a water cooler) rigged it to a switch and a voltage adapter and now use it to cool my xbox360 lol. Again it is still very loud but I just raise the volume lol. By putting that fan on the back of the xbox 360 puling the hot air out. The xbox 360 doesn’t get more then a few degrees above room temp even after several hours of gaming. I have one of the older xbox 360’s that have that heats up a lot. For that fan to bring the temp down that much It has to be moving serious amounts of air through the system. that is just placing the fan on the back with out a custom made funnel to cup that back of the system maximizing air flow lol. I even tried it out on my friends xbox 360. His is one of the newest ones that doesn’t heat up as much and after hours of gaming we turned the fan and system off felt the back and it felt like the system was never on.. LOL wow. If you can stand the noise and have the coin I really recommend this
Awesome Fan, Loud though

I would seriously recommend you buying this fan if noise is not the issue, this fan has a lot of push!
But seriously, unless its a server your trying to cool, this is not the best idea-unless your case has the best airflow possible-i do(intake for the GPU, CPU and all:)
Note: I tried asking them if they had a 3speed (SINGLE) switch, and they linked me Lamptron Hummer 5 Port Military Switch :-(
I wish they offered a single 3 speed or any speed switch that is easy to just plug in using 4 pin

Great fan blows lots of air. However terrible high pitch noise when turned up from the start. I tried hooking up to fan controller. Have to turn down so low that it is just a hair from off. When I need the air for gaming it is there. Have to turn headphones up. Even my buddies have noticed the high pitch when talking to them over Vent. Still having heat issues with my dual GTX''s will have to upgrade case. Other downside is no fan connector on wiring. Will have to hard wire in. Still great fan does what it is supposed to. When I build my case I may remove this fan and use it as a exhaust fan to vent out my bathroom. LMAO. Highly recommend using with a controller. If you need lots of air here it is.
good fan...isnt pretty...but it puts out

I bought this about a year and a half ago. i have an open case. and it sits right next too it. This thing is awsome (loud as hell), but awsome...if you have 2 GPU''s, and you dont want to take the time to get a Water or Pelt system...get this...
warning though...get the fan grill...i had a little trip to the emergency room because i didnt have a fan grill...and my finger got too close...
What evil have you unleashed upon this earth?

If only I had found this fan sooner. So many cases that have had deal with mearly adequite cooling. I wonder what kind of damage would be sustained from using it as a intake fan.
