It works fairly well to keep dust out. You can''t use the short fan screws that tap into the fan with these though. The detachable filter makes it easy to clean, but the screws are really small; once they strip, they can be hard to find.

Using 3 of these on my rad intake and one standalone intake. So far so good!
 No more dust!

I installed this on my 120mm fan in the front of my case, which is my only intake, and I have had ZERO dust in my case! I have to clean it about once a week but other than that its great; no one should ever have an intake w/o this filter on it.
