Very Cool Looking Mod
05-05-2013
Reviewer: Jeff F (1)
I would like to echo what the other reviewers have said. Do NOT trust the sticky pads that come with the lights to actually hold for very long. I even bought better quality sticky pads, and they failed too. I solved the issue by using contact cement. I am not sure that is an advisable way to do it, but it works in my case. Also, if you have to route your wiring around a video card for example, I would suggest buying them unsleeved, because of the additional stiffness of the sleeving.
I too, also had to purchase some additional units to get a pair that worked on any other setting than the default one.
Overall, I am very happy with these lights, but it took some work to get it to that point.

I bought two of these. They are pretty darn cool. Only one problem I had was that one of them when I press the button to change the lighting sequence it does not change. I can''t see sending this back considering the postage cost. I will use as is. But overall, these will really enhance your system board. Nice!

I would like to add something to my previous review on this item.
If you buy these please do not trust the adhesive backing to hold these in place. The circuit board kept coming lose on mine and if it had touched another component in my system it would surely have shorted out my computer. I drilled a small hole toward the front of the plastic clip and used tiny plastic wire ties to hold the circuit board.
No more problems! Just a tip for you moders out there! I wouldn''t want anyone to short out their system.
