Worked well on my Thermaltake and Dell power supplies. Can see where it may be a bit to thick for some applications versus the sunbeam set but will be more foregiving. What can I say MADE IN USA. Support made in usa manufactures.

I have used micro screwdrivers, wires, and other objects successfully over the past 10+ years without much trouble. This tool would work fine on older equipment that is more loose fitting than my Antec TruePower Trio 650w power supply. Unfortunately, on the Ultra and Antec supplies I have, it is completely ineffective due to the pin size width and flat shape of the head. I''ll have to buy some others that cost more to do these units but if you have a cheap or older PS, it''s better than makeshift alternatives.

This tool was a little tricky to use at first, yet amazingly effective at removing pins from connectors once I’d gotten the hang of it. It lacks any formal instructions but anyone with a good mechanical understanding should figure it out in just a few seconds. While the single point end is self-explanatory, used to depress the pin interlocks with a gentle push, the dual end took me a couple of practice tries. Sliding the dual spring metal tips at a slight angle, over the dual spring lock interconnects on male or female connector pins, made removing the pins a breeze. In the past I would use a small jewelers screwdriver to remove single and dual lock pins, but had to rock dual locks such as on MOLEX and sometimes damaged the delicate interlocks doing so. This tool is amazing in its’ simplicity, yet does exactly what it claims once accustomed to how it works. Sometimes the simplest tools work best, and the best I can say about this tool is that “It works”.
