great fan, but delicate

I love Fan''s I have 12 in my system. bought 2 of these, and they are the quietest fan I have and push the most air... just don''t touch the blades! I cleaned one and now it makes a clunking sound and vibrates the entire side panel. sounds like it''s going to blow up, and all I did was lightly wipe down the dust off the blades. I''ll buy another one, but I''m going to try the aerocool turbine first, and see what that does. I hear good things about it.
Bad

Awsome lightup fans, but the fans break to easily. Most of mine dont last a year before replacement. Even the replacement break.

Mine lasted 6 months. Bearing is shot, makes grinding noise, grease splattered inside the center like previous review. Very silent and moved tons of air before it went bad. Zero customer service from SilenX.
Okay, if you don''t run your pc a lot.

Wish these reviews were here when I bought these! Hah.. Love most others said, if you keep your pc on all the time DON''T get these.. first one looks like it exploded on the inside, all the grease is plastered against the clear plastic and now the second ones going. They were GREAT at first, very quiet and moved tons of air, now I need two new fans.. Least I can buy them here!
Quiet but did not last

As the others have stated here, this fan is nice and quiet, pushes a good amount of air, but has a short life span if you leave your computer running. I had to give it a shot of WD-40 to keep it going every couple of days while I waited for a replacement.
Mixed feelings.

It`s a great, quite and nice looking fan, but it moves so much air that most noticeable whoosh is audible beating the low noise profile this fan is supposed to have.
recommended.
Very quiet short lifespan.

When I first got this fan I was thrilled. These fans are so incredibly quiet you can barely hear them. Unfortunately my pleasure dissipated shortly after when the first of the two fans I had purchased blew out the berrings and started clattering. When I removed the fan you could see grease inside the fan housing. I wrote it off as just a bad fan until the next one went about a month later. These fans are great if you don''t keep your computer on all the time. If you do keep your computer on all the time I strongly recommend you don''t purchase these.
A step above the rest.

I got this fan to replace an antec that i previously had. Created a LOT less noise and better cooling because of the fan blade design. No loud wooshing noise at all. This fan sits in the front bottom of my case in front of the hard drives. Dropped HD temps by 2-3 degrees, and case temps by about 1-2. The CFM is not 72 as stated but is actually 64 as it says on the packaging, still better then the rest. My case is a well ventilated Lian-Li and plan to get 3 more of these to replace all the fans. FrozenCPU shipped out the same day and it got here 2 business days early. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
