I have had this fan since Oct.of 2007. Originally i was a little skeptical b/c of the past reviews of the other SilenX products so I only purchased one. It was a little thicker than i realized but it fits into my U2-UFO just fine. It is the quietest fan in my case still to this day with very good output of air. I am glad that i gave it a chance and will be getting more soon.

Put 4 of these in my cosmos S case and man are they quiet.

Not only is this fan quiet... it looks great. Have 4 of these on my black ice 480 rad and at complete room silence, I can only hear a nice low hum. My HDD''s are much louder.

Some beach, somewhere. That''s where you can hear the roar of the ocean. No such racket here. I''ve dumped four other fans that didn''t live up to their "whisper quiet" claims but this baby is staying put! So if ocean noises are what you desire or if your crappy old speakers don''t crackle and whir enough call me and I''ll send you one of my old fans. If you''re looking for the quietest fan on the market, THIS IS YOUR SIGN...P.S. it cools wonderfully too, after all, it is a fan.
