Once again, Lian Li comes up short on what could have been a great idea. When will someone come up with a double-wide or cube WITH ROOM FOR A VIDEOCARD ON THE LAST PCI BAY? Sadly, not here. If your card needs go in the last spot, the fan will be up against the bottom of the case, so FORGET after-market cooling of any kind, BECAUSE THERE''S NO ROOM.\\
That one simple error renders this product useless to a wide cross-section of builders. Too bad.

There is an obvious spot for what could be a great location for a double 120 rad on the back, but they made the cutouts WRONG.
They put the mobo as far down as they could, leaving NO ROOM AT ALL at the bottom, BUT, they did design in 2 spaces for 80mm fans. 80MM????????? 80mm??????? Who the freek wants to put 80mm fans in a $400 case? Obviously, the idiots at Lian Li. You just can''t fix stupid.

Love it everything about it scream high quality and the fact that is made from light weight aluminum and black aluminum panels. Note it does not come with any HDD racks or mounting places for the hdd. Must buy it separately. No big deal just letting you know. The biggest CON is the fact that it is very hard to mount 5.25 bays securely to the case. Its a tight fit so if you have big hand be ready to use tools designed to bend 90 degrees. In either case I LOVE IT thanks Frozen CPU.
One case to rule them all.

I’ve been building custom rigs for over twenty years, and in that time I have seen the industry bloom from its infancy in the early nineties to the massively customizable market of today. With today’s seemingly unlimited number of choices for housings, I wanted to choose a case that would last through several generations of system builds, and to this end, decided to go with Lian Li’s PC-343B. The PC-343B’s modular nature, mixed with its unprecedented roomy interior will fit this niche for several generations of hardware to come. Whether you are a fan (Pun intended) of old school air cooling, or care to take on a complex multi loop water cooling setup, you cannot beat the ease of customization presented by the PC-343B. As noted by other reviewers, this case is truly a monster, quite capable of handling most things you want to throw either at it or in it. Mix this with the plethora of bay devices, bay converters, drive enclosures and aftermarket as well as OEM parts available for it, and you have a literal infinite number of possible configurations from which to choose from for your next build.
I ordered this case with a few modest mod supplies just prior to the big Memorial Day weekend holiday, and true to Frozen CPU’s customer centric nature, the order was processed, packed well, shipped and delivered with the speed and grace of a cheetah on the prowl. I have come to expect nothing less than superb service from Frozen CPU, and again with this latest order, they prove why I will remain a loyal customer.

I''ve owned this case for about a year now and I absolutely love it. It can get very expensive with the addition of other optional parts, but if you are looking for a case to last forever--this will do the trick. I DO have ONE MAJOR WARNING! Do NOT think that you can purchase an ATI HD 5970 and just plop it in! The card is about 2" too long. Anyone purchasing this case is probably capable of making modifications, and would need to cut out a portion of the left side drive cage to make the card fit. This cutout will NOT weaken the case at all. I used a simple Dremel with a cutting wheel to do the job and it actually made the card installation much MORE SECURE! The PCIe slot can be damaged very easily by the weight of these cards, especially with a water block installed but now, the right side of the card is supported buy the cutout I made. The metal cutout is lined with a plastic edge guard and the card fits with about 1/16" clearence above and below---so it keeps the card''s right side from sagging. I finally have my setup as I want it. I have a triple radiator INSIDE the case (standing upright behind the left side drive bays) with three Noctua 120mm fans PULLING cool air through the radiator and into the case. Air is expelled out of the case from the left rear using a Noctua 140mm silent fan (has 120mm mounting holes)and is totally silent. I have applied sound dampening pads to the entie case. On the rear right I have two HDD cages with Noctua 80mm fans expelling air OUT of the case and, of course, an Enermax 87+ power supply which also expells air OUT of the case. So, i have a complete water-cooling setup (CPU, GPU, NB & SB) with the best silent fans you can buy and the setup is virtually silent. What a change from the roaring vacuum cleaner I had before! The possibilities with this case are endless as you can see if you Google "PC343 Mods". It is a large case, but well worth every penny. I own another PC343B. I am modifying this case to have an Asus Rampage III Extreme on the left side where the Motherboard is normally installed---and an older Asus P5WD2 Premium board on the right side (which is powered on and off by remote control), both using the same power supply (only one board can be powered on at a time). The older and MUCH slower board will be for the Internet and any downloads--everything that could contract Virus''s and other nasties. The Rampage III Extreme will NEVER see the Internet and will have no possibility of EVER getting a Virus--so many of Microsoft''s security updates will not need to be installed. Any downloads will be thoroughly analyzed for malware, etc, and then can be transfered to my main water-cooled system. With the water-cooled Asus Rampage III Extreme, an Intel I7-980X and an ATI HD 5970, this system absolutely screams, especially with two SSD drives in RAID (with the Intel ICH10R chipset and NOT the Marvell chipset). I am considering having the case professionally painted at an auto shop but have not done so yet. Most Auto shops would be very happy to paint your case and not charge you an arm and a leg. After painting a Car, they always have paint left over and that paint can be used for your case. You just need to wait until a Car is painted the color you want for your case! Anyway, if you are hesitant about purchasing this case, don''t be. Resales of these cases (used) on eBay attract TOP DOLLAR, so----make the purchase!!

This case rules! sure it is big, but it has room for everything, 2 radiators, lots of fans, lots of drives, water pumps, reservoirs. the best thing is that it is easy to work on any part of the computer without disassembling something else. the fit and finish of this case is top notch. Great job Lian Li, and thank you for another great product FCPU!
 A Really B I G case

I received the Lian Li pc-343 case this week. Although I bought it from another company, it arrived with Frozen CPU shipping tape all over it. Not sure how that works!
First of all - this is a really B I G case! I want to emphasize that again - really BIG! Bigger than I envisioned even when I converted the useless metric dimensions every site lists to good ole British units. It replaces a Yeong Yang cube server case and will have to sit on the floor since it vastly outsizes my workcenter desk space.
Once over the shock of its size, I got down to tearing it apart and really looking it over.
In its default configuration, it is typical of what we expect from Lian Li. Beautiful fit and finish of every part. All pieces fit together with precision tolerance.
I have only a few complaints with this case:
1) The motherboard tray is not removeable. This causes extreme difficulty getting to the interior side of the right 5.25 drive bay. Let me tell you that it is very difficult to secure any item to that interior bay side to ensure correct alignment and secure mounting - a necessity to eliminate vibration and its resultant noise.
2) The drive bays are not removeable. This, coupled with #1 above contributes to the access problems to the interior side of the right drive bay. If the motherboard tray or drive bays were removeable, access and secure peripheral mounting would not be an issue.
3) Lian Li case parts make the price of this case climb into the stratosphere! A simple 120mm fan mount with grill costs around $40! If you are going water cooling and want blanks to close off unused fan holes, another 30 - 40 bucks. Want to buy a window for the left side? 60 bucks. My point is that you can quickly build out this case to well over $500 - so be careful!
The top plate - while clever engineering - is somewhat strange in appearance. It can, of course, be replaced with a Lian Li window but that too raises the cost.
In the end, this is an excellent case for those of us requiring a lot of room for whatever reason - a non-cramped esthetic, big water cooling, etc.
Its overall cost with modest Lian Li accessories and extremely difficult access to the interior right drive bay keep me from giving it a 5 out of 5.
