 didn''t hold up as long as MTBF

I bought a pair of these in mid April 2007, and over the past two weeks one of them has become very, very loud. Will contact for warranty replacement (2 yr warranty on these).
 worth every penny!!!

I have one of these installed as a noise reducer for the stock 40mm PSU fan in the Shuttle K45. It fit perfectly, and reduced the noise to the point that I no longer hear the PSU fan now!! After I installed it, I had to check to see that it was actually running. So, I think the 14db claim is accurate. It''s been in my K45 since September, and no sign of wear or increased noise. This is the best solution for the K45 owners who want to reduce the noise in their systems.

Great for passively cooled chipsets, I put one of these on my southbridge of my Intel G33 mobo. (BTW, just run a tie-wrap though diagonal holes and loop them through the motherboard hooks to mount this - after almost bonding my fingers together with super glue, tie-wrap is the way to go). Will comment later on if this one gets loud after while as previously posted.
 Not so good.

I baught 5 of these fans and 2 of them got rather loud after only a month. I tried to re-lube them but that didn''t work out as well as with SilenX fans. These fans began spinning faster and louder. Not a good buy unless you MUST have them.
