Dead Silent!

I swapped a couple of these in place of my Logysis 2400 rpm fans and the drop in noise was incredible! There is still some noise from the back of the case from the airflow, but that''s because of the design of my case, not the fan. When I first tested the fan, I held it next to my ear outside the case and I couldn''t even hear it! Worth the money for sure!

I read a few reviews and was a little bit skeptical going in, but these fans deliver on the 8dbA promise. With my ear right next to it in an otherwise silent house the fan gets drowned out by my breath. It''s a good deal quieter than my 64CFM SilenX - which is saying something.
This is - by far - the best fan I''ve ever bought

After reading the reviews I ordered two to replace two existing fans. The fans are virtually silent even without the add-on resistor to further lower the speed. It shipped with four grommits that I dismissed until I noticed that they were made of rubber! Obviously this further reduced case vibrations. Great fan.
