This is not a standard thermocouple. You cannot plug this into a standard thermocouple "reader" (like a motherboard input) and expect it to read, it won''t. You need a special Koolance device to make it read.

You will need a Koolance Drain Valve G1/4 Thread Fitting (VLV-XTSPL) in addition to this part to put it inline on your water cooling kit. Works great! Have 3 of these hooked up to my exos 2, one on the output tubing of my cpu, one on the output from the radiator, and one on the input to the radiator.

there is no body to this part. I ordered the probe and two G1/4-1/2 fittings and now i need to find a body to fit them into to make it work. The description did not give me this impression.
