This pump is great for any non-integrated WC system. Footplate can be used on 3 of the unit''s sides allowing for various mounting locations. Pump is rigid and well manufactured. Has worked for over 10 months without an issue. Comes highly recommended if you can ever find it in stock. Thats how sought after this little unit is.

I have owned this pump for about 1 and 1/2 years now and have had zero problems with it. I cant even hear it running over the 3 120mm low rpm fans that keep the radiator cool.
for those worried about finding replacement parts you can order them from the manufactures website

Just make sure the shaft is straight and there is liquid inside the pump before turning it on and you should have zero issues .

Big, bulky, with a distinctive startup sound that lets you know its working. Pumps out tons of water, makes a little noise, but i like to know that its working so its ok. my only gripe is that it doesn''t have native g1/4 threads. Feels bad man, but not enough to lose a star. Overall, WATER PUMP. PUMP WATER. GOOD PRODUCT.

I purchased this pump because It was small to fit in my case a new build. Cooling my Six core i7 980 Extreme Processor over clocked to 4.80GHz, Gulftown processor and three water cooled EVGA video card.
The pump failed after after 3 weeks, The shaft broke and the front housing pin snaped off.
The pump work good until then! No one has replacement parts. I had to purchase another brand pump.
I was extremely disapointed!

I purchased an Eheim pump and the pump has power as advertized.
The is manufactured in german. It fit perfectly in my case. It was easy to bolt it down. It runs slightly loud. after a few months the impeller shaft broke. I was unable to find anyone that sells replacement parts. I had to purchase another pump of a different brand. I''m disapointed because I liked the pump.

First all, GREAT PUMP and POWERFUL!!! Why a four star then...had three Bitspower 1/2" connectors that wouldn''t go in correctly. I would start to screw in but then it seemed like it would strip. I had to order two more just to find one that would screw in without stripping the thread. After that, EVERYTHING worked great. No leak, and VERY POWERFUL!! I was worried about the size because it isn''t small. Then I worried about it sounding loud and the vibrations going on the casing but no worries.

Becareful when purchasing this unit. It comes Autochecked with 1/4 fittings that you have to pay for. If your running a 1/2 setup then deselect
Eheim Intake 1/4" ID Fitting ($6.99)
and
Eheim Discharge 1/4" ID Fitting ($6.99)
and select
Eheim Discharge ($4.99)
Eheim Intake ($4.99)
Besides that its a great pump

Exactly as stated, and just so you know it moves 360 litres/minute or about 9-10 gallons/minute, good strong pump and nice and quiet

It definitly moves a decent amount of water and it''s pretty quiet. I mounted it with double face foam tape and it''s very quiet. I''m very happy with this pump.

I have previously owned two of the lower powered blue Eheim pumps and decided to try out the higher powered red one this time around (why not, its only $13 more).
Unfortunately I cannot quantify the increase in power since I do not use a flow meter, but I can say that there is a noticeable increase in pressure from what I see in my reservoir. Very noticeable. And I''m very happy to say that I can not detect any increase in sound for the added power - it is the same soft hum that I am used to from the blue model.
If you are not familiar with the Eheim pumps please remember that you will need to buy a hose attachment for the front of the pump. The one on top is included, but for some reason you need to purchase the one in the front separately.
