Simple and effective

Just as advertised! Simple to install. Easy to hook up. Cooled my mildly oc''d Q6600 ( 2.8mHz) from idle at 48C to 30C and under normal load of 60C to 45C. Follow the instructions and it drops in quick and easy. Fit very easily on my Asus P5N-D mb in a mid-tower case. Would have liked the 12.... but this fit and works well!

Great Cooler, but don''t bother

I accidentally ordered this thing when I was slapping together parts for a new machine. I meant to get Noctua''s NH-U12P though, but I didn''t read the model number like a retard. Yay for froogle. Anyway, this thing does a good job, but the U12P does a great job. Spend the extra and get that one.

BEST 92mm alive...

On an AMD 6400+ (with ambient of 70F), I get idle temps of ~22C / Torture-Test temps of ~36. I''m using 2 AeroCool 50CFM fans on it. Since I have 2 of these, I will lapp one and compare the difference. With these kind of temps (using AS 5), I would highly suggest getting this for anyone looking for the sub-120mm air cooled solution. BTW I did not have to remove my MoBo for installing it onto the AM2 socket so total install took about 15min.
