Its a heavy chunck of metal with holes. iIstead of having to unplug fans and remove them, i can just open up the cap and open my reservoir and voila water flows out fast. I was thinking to buy a couple of pieces to do what this does until i found this and found out its much better and heavy duty.

So far works great

No problems so far. Defiantly handy. Video of my computer with the drain valve mounted under reservoir

Radiator and pump destroyer

Works fine for what it does, just be careful if you''re mixing brands of water cooling components. The construction of this is very poor; inside started to flake off (metal fragments ripped my pump to shreds), then after the inside lost it''s plating, it caused a reaction between it''s metal and my radiator... disolved it from the inside out. Use with caution. Did the same thing on 4 systems with identical parts.

This thing is a simple, easily accessible means to draining water out of your system. There are certainly just as effective and certainly much cheaper methods to draining, but this product is easy and there''s no disconnecting necessary. Place this at the bottom of your loop, unscrew the cap and wait. Good stuff. It is certainly a great bell to add to your other whistles.

Works just fine

Has 5 G1/4" ports which you can easily change out for a different setup however it didn''t describe the thread size of the drain valve but it''s 6mm also if your using 3/4" OD compression fittings you may have issues connecting them on the ports that are right next to each other because of the fact that they''re huge. *Other thoughts... I just stuck another 1/2" compression fitting to replace the drain valve and used a male to male connector at the other end and sealing it with an another compression fitting and a drain plug so I can easily drain my system without making a mess*
