2.5 years later

I''m revisiting this unit because after 2.5 years of use; I''m looking for another one.
The only issue I have with this offering is that after 2.5 years, the display has dimmed almost to the point of going dark. It has worked flawlessly for 2.5 years; longer than most people keep computers !!!
Junk

it worked great for a month and then started to break down fan 2 started to have a mind of their own, then fan 3 shut completely down. I''m sending it back and ordering some 3 pin cable extensions so I can plug the fans into my motherboard chassis fan outputs
greatttttttt product!!!!

i agree with skeith....efthimios thanasoulis needs to sell anything electronic. his review is totally stupid. this is a great product that works as claimed. i have been using it almost a year and it works with every fan ive tried, some with led''s and some not. i use 7 case fans so a good controller is needed.the temperatures are very accurate, display is very good and it looks great also. i also agree it could be deeper but its not a big enough issue to take away a star. i have purchased dozens of products from frozen cpu and all have performed as claimed. great service and packing!!!
Good product

Easy to install. Makes my HAF-X 942 look even better. Only problem is that I wish the device fit more snug into the coolermaster 942 case (it''s not too loose but it could be better).
P.S. To "efthimios thanasoulis", your doing it wrong. It works fine and as advertised. Did you read the instructions?
To the guy complaining about the male/male plugs... Sell anything you own that is electronic.

The fans (female plug) are plugged into the fan controller. The fan controllers on the motherboard are NOT used. Maybe you should have read some instructions so your stupidity doesn''t drag down a product rating?
no fan controling

the problem is that the wires that are suposed to fit in the motherboard to control the fans are male but so are the sockets on the motherboard the female to female wire does not exist so who ever desighed it didnt ever bother to give it a try.
Well Thought out Fan Controller

Well Packaged, easily installed fan controller. Easy to read display. Fan and Temp leads are sufficiently long to easily reach the rear of the largest Tower case; so routing options should be available. Molded in black plastic so there''s no chance of visible scratches. The display screen is coutersunk 1/8" giving some additional protection.
I have but one issue; the case could stand to be several inches deeper. This would lend additional stability for screwless installations.
love it
