I have been using this for over 2 years now with no problems. I do agree with the one person who complained about the rubber fasteners not being all that strong, mine have not failed but do occasionally pull free.

Rubber/Silicone fasteners attaching fan to mounting bracket are not up to the task. While they initially went together easily, within 4 weeks all had failed leaving my with fans dangling by their power cables. Had to replace them with appropriate nut/bolt combo. Very inconvenient once in place.
 Great Kit/Fans Terrible Controller

We purchased 3 of these kits to put into our new lecterns on our campus. Only 1 of the 3 "fan controller bases" worked. The base is very cheap and plug fits way to tight.
The kit looks great. The fans and mounting hardware work very well! I have sent SilenX support an email and see if they will replace the base.
