 Extremely Effective Cooler

Pros: This thing WORKS! Keeps core i7 920, overclocked to 4.2 down at 25C at idle and 43C at load. Bonus that it cools the RAM as well!
Cons: HUGE, but if you have a full tower case its no problem.
Other Thoughts: Just be careful when selecting a set of RAM because if it is really tall it could have some clearance issues. I grabbed the mushkin Redline 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 998692, and had absolutely no clearance issues, not to mention its great RAM.

with the right setup, eg, good airflow, a power supply that can power an OC''ed cpu, components and an 80 watt peltier and the know how to make it work, this cooler can exceed a lapped TRUE. for those doubting read this review, and take a freaking gander at the WC setup he uses. http://www.examiner.com/x-2381-SF-Technology-Examiner~y2009m3d23-Coolermaster-V10-vs-300-watercooling-setup

Spices up your computer like no other product. You have to pull the motherboard out to install it, that''s the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. CPU temp rearly reaches the 37c mark.

I like it because it hangs over my memory, but cooling a i7 920 cpu (no overclocking) it idles at 38c. Room temp 76F.

I just finished a new build with this beast and the idle temp are a chilly 27C, without lapping either the V10 or the i7 cpu! It fits in my Cooler Master HAF case quite comfortably but it does dominate the landscape. Mounting to the motherboard was a breeze and took me all of ~ 10 minutes.
I used the included sample of ThermaFusion 400 as my TIM. You can Google it and find some interesting information on its effectiveness.
All and all I''m very pleased with the V10''s performance and if you''ve got the real estate in your case I can highly recommend it.
