Bought a pair of these to light my new system build and they''re nice and bright. They have a reflective backing on one side so you dont get blinded if they''re pointing somewhat outside the case and also come with velcro so you can attach them to your case.
The reason I knocked it a star though is because of the velcro. It''s too weak to hold light stick horizontally upside down. Once I ran my system under full load the mild heat inside the case (50c-ish) the glue gave out and it came falling down.
 Cathodes are dead to me now

I second the previous review. These LED sticks are brighter than cold cathodes, they have longer wires than any cathode I''ve seen, and don''t require a pale blue inverter. If you want on\\off capability, hook them up to a fan controller than can power all the way off.
Never Going Back To Cold Cathodes

I got this product from here sleeved black. I can honestly say i''m never going back to stupid cold cathodes.
After going through 6 pairs of them i gave up, those ridiculous transformers, short cables, and cable extensions that make them half as bright if you use them.
This product is super bright (i mean way more bright than i expected and needed) and directional! So if you want less light rotate it 90 degrees when installing, i did so and it worked out perfect.
