great radiator fans
04-29-2012

I''ve got a total of eight of these fans covering both of my radiators, ( six in a push/pull config on my 360mm rad, and two pushing on my 240mm rad) and everything''s cool. If you''re not getting good air out of these things, then either your fan controller sucks or your wiring skills do. A 2000rpm fan for ten bucks? Can''t beat that with a stick...
great looking and they have good flow

they are great looking, not very bright, just enough light to see the blue and thats it, i didnt want super bright fans, if i want more light i would get a cathode. these things move some seriose air, i have no idea what this other guy is talking about. i have around 20 of these things and every one of them move alot of air, if you put them face down some can actualy hover slightly (depends on how straight the frame is)but dont listen to the db rating, my computer sounds like a big freezer motor that just kicked on. you might wanna get a fan controller if you wanna drop the sound a bit. all in all i like them alot.
Quiet and Cool

These fans are packaged with a ''High'' RPM rating, but truth is they have no real pressure behind them. I found by removing the 4 LED lights there seemed to be a bit more power in the fan''s blades than before and still it was very quiet. They were put into use as a set of 3 on the backs of the Black Ice series radiators and connected to a Koolance pump/fan controller. The fans were connected in parallel with one RPM wire intact for the controller. If you want lit up fans for your application, don''t count on them having power or pressure in moving air, but for noise and costs, these CoolerMaster fans are more than OK.
When the fans were varied speed wise from the Koolance controller (set initially to maximum level, 10), they immediately stopped as there was not enough current to run them, thus the LED lights had to go, this solved the problem, but I wish I had known before making the extra work for myself.
I am sure there are other company''s fans that could do the trick better, but at what cost?
I give them a solid 3 and if I had to buy more, I''d stick with these unless I had a larger budget to work with. (bought 12 fans for my system)
