bad mounting bracket

The CoGage is a nice heat sink...BUT... my biggest complaint about it was the x hinge bracket. It was truly one of the most painful and time consuming brackets I have ever used. While you are trying to get the screws in the bracket. The heatsink slides around. I might recommend using a different thermal paste, like artic silver. also the way you attach the fan to the heat sink felt rather cheap and was a pain. It took some bending of the wires to get it to sit right..... I would most likely not buy this heatsink again.
Fantastic 1156 cooling

Installed on an EVGA P55 LE board, which is somewhat notorious for poor capacitor placement. Very happy with the install process and cooling; lowered temps from stock cooler about 20C, which is remarkable. Adding a second fan today so I can really get into overclocking. Thanks FrozenCPU!

its light does not intrude ram slots
does not interfere the internal air flow that much(as megahalmes)
high performance with 9blade double fan config. 4heatpipes +purecopperbase sockfan is good
but can not double config with same type of fan unless buying two of these.
hence ac-f12 pro dualfan config with additional fanclip = great performer.
i will have a use for the stock fan in the future.

The Cogage TS is a nice piece of equipment. From the pipes up it is a flawlessly engineered heatsink with a quality/quiet fan. There are only two things that bug me about this unit. 1. Why not stock it with the steel bolt thru kit instead of the cheap plastic pin bracket? 2. The base is not flat.
If you produce a product whose whole purpose is to make good contact with your CPU why not take the time to engineer a mirror finish flat base? I''ll lap the thing but I shouldn''t have to... -1 As an aside, FrozenCPU delivered quick... will do business again...
