 A step in the wrong direction for DD

The original TDX was a masterpiece, it upped the performance ante while doing so using less raw materials.
Unfortunately, this block, the new TDX, performs far worse than my other block, the cheaper XSPC Rasa. While the MC-TDX wins the beauty contest and perhaps the pressure drop contest too, it''s hard to justify $60 for this level of performance. Also DD, a bunch of junk you found in your garage does not constitute a ''mounting kit'', not when you are trying to sell something for money anyway. Luckily, I too have a garage and in it some junk, so I was able to improve on the ''mounting kit''.
On the plus side, this block is very attractive and it''s simplicity makes it easy to maintain with no fear of leaks.

i bought this block with a xspc dual 5.25 res/pump combo and a dual 120 rad. great temps from this thing stock im at 2.92ghz and now im running 3.8ghz and get 30-35c base and never over 50c at 100% load! great block for starters and the price isnt to bad either

Great build quailty, During flush no residue came out.Easy to install as any other block is, Mounting screws are a bit to long but it was simple to cut them. i7-2600k max temp at 100% load F@H after 2 hours is 65c, thats pretty good, great block design
