I bought this item because my computer would freeze for a couple moments, and then resume a few later. After figuring out what was wrong (the asus stock cooler on my MoBo chipset was being overheated), I ordered this immediately. I applied this with some old AS5 thermal I had in my ''parts drawer'' and it has worked wonders, not a single stutter or freeze since. Definitely would recommend this to a friend. The only downside in my mind is the blue LED, but that''s a personal preference thing.
