(Seemingly) High price can be good value
Most of you will look at the price tag and cringe, and I understand that, but I have done individual cable sleeving before, and I''d probably charge more than $100 for just the 24pin connector alone, if you could convince me to take the job. The question is more about quality than value, and these cables are done very well. the sleeving fits very tight around the wire, it is dense enough that you can''t see the color of the wire, and the heat shrink uniformity is good. The heat shrink and sleeves fit tight enough that they shouldn''t slide around on the wires. Overall, individual cable sleeving is a long tedious job, so for all but the most prideful DYIer, Corsair''s product is a great value.

Great slim form factor radiator
I think we all know that the MCR quiet power series had a great reputation for performance per dollar with slow to moderate fans, so I''ll mostly be comparing this extreme performance rad to that. I already have a Swiftech quiet power rad, and I just got my extreme performance a few weeks ago, and unlike the old one, the new one showed up clean and packaged properly. Also, while the fin density is higher, the fins are thin and more evenly spaced and overall do not block airflow much at all, so even if you are using slow fans, this may be as good a choice as the quiet power series if not better. Aside from the fins, the two rads seem more or less identical. I''ve heard mixed reports on what thread taps Swiftech uses. I''m using m3.5s with mine, but some claim Swiftech is switching to m4s. As long as they continue shunning those awful, horrible, unacceptably repugnant m3s, I''m happy.

Cathodes are dead to me now
I second the previous review. These LED sticks are brighter than cold cathodes, they have longer wires than any cathode I''ve seen, and don''t require a pale blue inverter. If you want on\\off capability, hook them up to a fan controller than can power all the way off.

Great tubing, but what color?
I recently did a build with this tubing, and it is very high quality tubing. The inside is has a slick, nonporous feel which should keep your additives from sticking to it. The tubing doesn''t feel soft, but it can take sharp bends quite well. It isn''t overly difficult to install on 1/2" fittings, yet once on it''s pretty well stuck. The only issue is the color. The pretty light blue you see here is dependent on specific lighting conditions, as it may also appear purple, or even greenish purple in normal lighting. Great tubing, just pick your color carefully.

Good rad for slow Fans
Compared to a similar 120mm rad, this one gives you two extra tubes and 104 square cm of fan area. With fans of similar noise levels, this radiator lowered my water temperature 2C vs a Swiftech 2x 120mm, so there is reason for a 140mm radiator market. The fin density is very low, so between that and the thinness, this rad is best suited to very quiet builds. This product is a little rough as you may expect for its lower price. It has minimal shrouding, which could be good if your space is limited, and the shrouding isn''t very even and flat. You''ll probably want to put tape around the fans to create of seal if you plan on running them in pull mode. Another huge glaring fault is the use of m3 screw threading. M3 screws are frustrating to get started, and they strip easily. Also, of all the screws provided, none were actually the right length for any fans I''d want to use. Another weakness that isn''t magicool''s fault is that the 140mm fan market isn''t as robust as the market for 120mm fans.

Did Not Work
I bought two of these and neither worked correctly. The cathode would not fully power on. Thinking it may be the plugs, I spliced a cathode directly into the extension wire and that did not work either. Not sure what the problem is: Wrong gauge wire perhaps? I eventually just made my own extenders by chopping up some old PSU wires.

A new hat for your pump
This was extremely easy to install. You''ll need some hex wrenches, as the one that came with my top fit neither the stock or new screws... I put this top on my Delphi 3.1 (350) and it did improve the flow rate by a small bit, but more importantly, my pump now supports fittings of my choice. The area around the threaded fitting ports is flat and smooth, so even the most deformed temperamental o-ring should seal with little effort. The only real downside is that this top looks pretty goofy on the pump. It''s like the pump''s wearing a large foam hat. I did not notice any change in noise or vibration.

Lots of air for little noise
I usually don''t bother reviewing fans, however compared to any other 12cm fan I''ve used these seem to push more air per decibel. I have two pulling air through a swiftech radiator, and they have sufficient static pressure for the job.

not bad
This res is surprisingly sturdy for acrylic. No cracks, few scratches and it looks nice. It doesn''t have any internal structure to guide water flow, but that can be good or bad from case to case. The only complaint I had is that the channels down the sides are not deep enough for the drive bay separators on the Corsair 650d. I don''t like having to mod a new case to fit a simple bay device.

A step in the wrong direction for DD
The original TDX was a masterpiece, it upped the performance ante while doing so using less raw materials. Unfortunately, this block, the new TDX, performs far worse than my other block, the cheaper XSPC Rasa. While the MC-TDX wins the beauty contest and perhaps the pressure drop contest too, it''s hard to justify $60 for this level of performance. Also DD, a bunch of junk you found in your garage does not constitute a ''mounting kit'', not when you are trying to sell something for money anyway. Luckily, I too have a garage and in it some junk, so I was able to improve on the ''mounting kit''. On the plus side, this block is very attractive and it''s simplicity makes it easy to maintain with no fear of leaks.
