Great Cooler
Totally silent at low speed. There were some issues when installing on an ATI X1950: I just installed a Zalman VF1000 Led Graphics cooler on an X1950. Results (At Idle): Original Graphics Card Cooler: PCB Temp: 51 GPU Temp: 55.4 Fan Speed: 31% Zalman VF1000 LED Graphics Cooler PCB Temp: 33 GPU Temp: 38 Zalman Fan Controller BUT, there are some issues. For one, Zalman only gives you 8 of those little blue Ram heatsinks.......and you need one more Big one for a bigger chip on the board (Voltage controller?) I decided to use the big horshoe looking copper looking thingie (it''s just copper coated aluminum btw) that was there originally. However, I had to grind the fins down for the Zalman to fit......about 3/16ths or so. It just unscrews with 4 screws and has the tape thermal dealies. Careful you don''t lose one. Took awhile to grind that much down, but I got a metal cutoff saw that worked by pressing the fins up against the flat of the blade while it was spinning. Also have a belt sander table top model that worked well. Also I used that 7 Carat Diamond thermal paste.......good stuff.....once it settles in the temps should be even lower.............z
