Better that Fluid XP+!!!
I initially purchased a bottle of Fluid XP+, in UV Red Flame actually it''s NOT red at all, it''s more a Flaming Flamingo Pink Hemorrhoid] and it damaged my water cooling system. Fluid XP+ Extreme clouded both my stock tubing and some replacement Tygon after I’d believe it was completely cleaned out of my system there was still some stuck inside my radiator, blocking the copper tubing/channels, even after several flushings until the water ran clear], stained the tubing a reddish-pink, left waxy red contaminants inside my water block, reservoir and got trapped inside my new radiator. When I tried contacting the makers of Fluid XP+, they were no help at all and took no responsibility for the damage their product did to my system. I’ll never buy Fluid XP+ again!
PrimoChill PCice is great stuff! I ran tests on the UV Green I’d recently purchased, using a digital multi-meter, then ran comparisons on Fluid XP+ Red Flame, Fluid XP+ Alien Green, distilled water and tap water. As it turns out, the PrimoChill PCice in UV Green was far less conductive than even the more expensive Fluid XP+, offering more resistance to the flow of electricity and coming very close to pure steam distilled water! Not only is it less conductive than Fluid XP+, but it’s wonderfully clear and has yet to discolor or cloud my replacement tubing. It’s not quite as UV reactive as Fluid XP+ Alien Green but it also lacks the waxy particles that hold the dye that’s found in Fluid XP+, so for that I am grateful. It still puts off a really nice green glow, while using good 12” dual A.C. Ryan UVCCL black light tubes. I really like PCice and only wish I had purchased it first and never ruined my system as I had by using Fluid XP+ Red Pink] Flame. PrimoChill has obviously made some real improvements since the reviews Online I’d read, apparently written some time ago. From now on, PrimoChill PCice is going to be my coolant of choice. I highly recommend PCice to anyone looking for a pre-mixed non- less] conductive coolant for their water cooling systems. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat! Very satisfied!!! |
