 Not really 14dBA
Great airflow and cooling, but it''s not even closed to 14dBA. Maybe it''s just be case, but compared to my TT Big Typhoon CPU cooler, which has a range of 16-24dBA, the SilenX fan is about the same noise as the CPU fan on full (24dBA). With that said, it gives great cooling. Even with the CPU fan on minimum, three of these fans in the case gives me a reading of 30C/22C on my X6800, compared 38C/33C with the same number of stock fans. The total noise level is maybe 3-5dBA more, though it is significant for my ears. I don''t know, maybe I can get used to it, but I might try the 11dBA''s. |
