Don''t order with bay cover!
I ordered this for my Corsair 800D, premounted in the Lian Li bay cover. Simply put, I wasted $22 having it installed in this bay cover. They neglected to mention ANYWHERE on both this page, and the Lian Li 5.25" Bay Cover pages (both black and silver) that these will only mount in a Lian Li case. I haven''t even bothered trying out the controller as I have to first devise a method for mounting this in my case. |

Great fittings!
I purchased a handful of these awesome fittings for my most recent build and found them to be awesome fittings, minus the rotary feature. The rotary feature is almost non-existant on the fittings I''ve got. It might be different once liquid is running through but even with pliers I found it difficult to rotate the barrel of these fittings. That said, they do look amazing, have great flow and haven''t presented any issues for me.
TL;DR: These fittings don''t leak, but don''t rotate too well either. |

This is my title.
This reservoir does almost everything it says it does!
Pros:
1) It holds coolant, damn well at that. I have not had any issues with leaks.
2) Looks pretty cool
Cons:
1) It does not have a slot cut out to allow any sort of lip your case might have to hold up 5.25" bay devices. I had to modify my 800D, just as Tooterfish did, in order to fit this res. I did, however, purchase this res already knowing this issue.
2) The flow meter on my res wore the center hole making it larger, which eventually lead to the spinner stopping entirely. It does not slow liquid flow down and I''m far too lazy to drain my loop to change it.
It was mentioned that there is a trickle noise and I can confirm that it trickle, but I don''t find it annoying, but soothing. I know my loop isn''t leaking because I can see that my level remains the same. |
