Some say the H20-120C is overkill for dual-cores, I''m implying the H20-220C is overkill for a quad.
For a compact kit with the intent to minimize hassle for both those new to water-cooling, and those who are experienced, it definitely does not cheap out on performance. I picked this kit up especially for my Q6600 which was running a little on the hot side, and as soon as I mounted this baby, temperatures dropped, and I do mean -dropped-. Idle temps range from the lower 20''s to the mid/late teens, this is how well the 220C handles itself. At the moment, my Q6600 is working at 3.4GHz, and idle temps are still good, such temperatures range from the low to mid 20''s, load temps barely peak 50C. I could go on and on about how awesome this is, but I wouldn''t want this to turn into a small book. |
