Sure it says 45dB, but you should hear this thing on minimum speed!
IT IS SILENT ON LOWEST SPEED, and is quieter and pushes more air than a SilenX 120mm x 38mm that claims 90CFM @ 18dB. GO FIGURE! The static pressure of this fan is amazing and is meant for radiators

The Best Air Cooler There Is
Pros - Retention is amazing...spring mounted screws - Cooling is amazing...keeps my Processor at ambient at idle, below 50 at load (Q6600 at 3.45Ghz and 1.6v) - 120mm fan of your choice can be attached - Fan retention is a lot sturdier than it looks - Effective fan vibration dampening - Less expensive than the water cooling kits that it absolutely OWNS - Beautiful construction - 6 HEAT PIPES! - It''s the Ultra 120 A on steroids Cons - Huge - Sometimes too powerful to handle...hehehe

It fits in so many places!
For its size, it pushes a heck of a lot of air. It is silent. period. Guess where it fits though! IT FITS BETWEEN THE FINSET AND PLATE OF AN HR-03! This decreased my temperatures from idle/load 60/90C to 45/60C, all other case fans on low. In conclusion, it works wonders because of its size...I wonder where else it fits! Also, the paint job on all SilenX fans is amazing. The new Fluid-Dynamic bearing system proves itself reliable and QUIET! I used to hate noise and I still do; now I don''t have to deal with it AND my temperatures are lower! YAY! THANKS SILENX!

Does very well on a Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme
Before this fan, I had a Silverstone FM123 on my Ultra 120. A fin from this fan popped off and slapped me in the face. This fan is the replacement. I am impressed. The sweep of the fins allows for decreased flow pressure (not static pressure) despite increased thickness (38mm as opposed to 25mm), preventing flimsy fan blades from breaking off. Also, the specifications are not to be doubted. 90CFM it is, and at a virtually inaudible 18dB. You can feel the air flowing fast even through the restrictive Ultra 120. It is the third quietest fan in my case behind my SilenX 80mmx15mm fans (of which there are 3) and my 2 Aerocool Turbines (non-Xtreme). This fan is great...period. SilenX has proven itself to me as not a gimmick, but as a legitimate revolution in fan design.
