 AMAZING!
Alright, in the aftermarket heatsink world a brand new heatpipe cooler can make a difference. More often than not, however, the difference isn''t HUGE, but it helps. Well folks, this made a HUGE difference over the sock HD2900XT heatsink and fan combo. Although this heatsink was made for a 92mm fan, I used the stock fan clips and managed to fit a 120mm fan for silence. With that fan, my idle temps droped from 55c to 45c, and my load temps dropped 85c to 55c! That is a significant difference. So not only do you get the amazing quality thermalright is known for, but you also get the silence over the leaf blower the HD2900XT comes with. I would reccomend this to anyone who wants a silent and cool system. |
