 Pretty Sweet..
I purchased one of these to use as a alternative-style gaming box. Installation of the motherboard was really easy and there was plenty of room. Air flow is pretty solid, and the case cools well. My only issues are that the power supply was actually too small to fit the opening and I had to sort of rig it up, and that its sort of a pain to try and hook the PSU cables into the motherboard due to the cable length. Otherwise this case is awesome. |

This is an awesome heatsink. I installed it on a Q6600 on an Abit IP35Pro and it fits inside my case, a Lian-Li v1000b, without any issues.
However, theres a reason for the 4 stars instead of the 5. Installation is complicated. If your using a socket 775 chip, you have to remove your motherboard from the chassis to install the rear mounting bracket. Installing the heatsink on top of it with the spring loaded screws is pretty tricky, but installing a fan using the fan brackets, is next to impossible.
Bottom line - An amazing heatsink, worth the money and installation effort, just understand that it comes with a bit of work to get it on. |
