Right form but made too cheaply
Awful fan, runs ok at 800rpm but absolutely wails at full speed. What''s worse is if pwm control causes the fan to slow down and speed up constantly. WAIL-quiet-WAIL-quiet... Replace the fan with a Silverstone FN83 that has the same mounting and size and it''ll be fine. The base is copper but has a very rough surface. Mine came with a bonus fingerprint indelibly etched into it. There was no film or anything protecting the base when it was packed. The push pin mountings are the worst I''ve tried as well. When they''re turned the spring makes a grinding noise and the pin might not lock or go down all the way. Be really careful to check that the base and all 4 pins are securely attached to the motherboard. I wasn''t looking for cheap as much as I just needed a design that would fit in my Thermaltake Lanbox with the DFI LANPARTY JR P45-T2RS. That''s a motherboard with a northbridge heatsink that absolutely prevents the use of a low profile Meorb style cooler.

Works well with temperature probes
I used this to replace the front fan in my Thermaltake Lanbox. It has the same size and LED but is capable of moving more air. The sound raises at full speed but it isn''t an annoying pitch or otherwise intolerable. Mine was missing the temperature probe but I had some spare probes left over from a Sunbeam "Chromatic Windmill" that actually fit the small two-wire fan speed controller connection.

Is this my computer or my laundry?
Isn''t much denser than water so it won''t stress pumps, cools within a couple of degrees of just water. However, I''ve have MAJOR foaming which makes my reservoir look like a washing machine. Eventually the air bleeds out but it takes much longer.
