better
with the right setup, eg, good airflow, a power supply that can power an OC''ed cpu, components and an 80 watt peltier and the know how to make it work, this cooler can exceed a lapped TRUE. for those doubting read this review, and take a freaking gander at the WC setup he uses. http://www.examiner.com/x-2381-SF-Technology-Examiner~y2009m3d23-Coolermaster-V10-vs-300-watercooling-setup

This is the model I chose.
Seems all good things come from korea these day''s, but their still an asian country and it shows in some places (no offence), such as the pins that are meant to snap out of the case when you pull out the face plate, just snap (some of them). The steel may have folded edges, but its so thin even the folded edges can still cut you. However the placement of all the parts, the non over the topness of it just rocks, its half the size (litterally) of my antec p182 and fits everything I had in there, BUT, is ''slightly'' hotter, I had to use a 92mm air cpu cooler cos it wont fit the biggest 120mm coolers ("true", etc), it should fit all video cards and if your water cooling with it (4 slots for 80mm rads with some able to use adapters to go up to 120mm, even fesser chillers, i kid you not) you''ll need to use the base and side fan mounts, but including the two in the back, and possibly a bit of enginuity I reckon I can get this baby running/overclocking anything a full tower can, people who say you need a tripple 120mm rad for the cpu alone have too much money and not enough sense! Besides the lack of hdd space; this is everything you need, just stick a boot ssd and a storage 3.5" HDD in the two hdd slots and your in business!

great depending on use
ok first off this does fit 8800gt and other g92 cards, but a word of warning, the solid copper design with no direct cooling for memory means your vram''s cooling is gonna be whatever temp your gpu is at, this means if you have a hot gpu and vram that doesnt like heat (like my asus 8800gt1g qimonda mem) then your going to have to end up UNDERCLOCKING your graphics card to keep it stable. that said i''d give this block a 8/10 for cooling and a 10/10 for value for money. PS. removing fan does make this a single slot cooler.

perfect up to a point
(Q6600B33.0ghz] -10*->45*c under prime 95) at and after 3ghz on q6600, there comes a problem, this peltier can only move a specific amount of heat, at factory spec it pretty much keeps it at -10*c the whole time, but when you start to oc it quickly becomes apparent how soon you reach the max exchange rate, at which point temps become even worse then if you kept stock cooler,(its basically insulating all heat past its max transfer rate, which means at load soon after 3+ghz, it starts to reach damaging temps) no joke. unless you have 20 free amps on your 12v and/or dont plan to oc much, OR you plan to use a cascade setup/ multi TEC setup, stay with liquid cooling or even just air, this thing requires insain power and time to rig (insulation/ lapping etc) and if you have light duty wires connected to it, they will litterally melt or combust and your cpu becomes in danger of blowing up. if electric bills are any concern of yours at all, forget about TEC all together. the idea has insain potential, just make sure you research and plan acordingly, and have cash to shell for electric bills. P.S. if you have a dual or single core, you''ll probably get much better results due to half or less heat wattage then a quad.
