 Unique Fan
This fan is quite I have to admit, but it also needs to be maintained. I bought 5 of these and so far, 4 of them have begun to slow down and make loud noises. Oddly enough, the first set of 2 did it one month and the next set of two did it the next month at the EXACT same time. Weird yes. What fixed it? I took them out, cleaned them by wiping the dust off then spraying a very small amount of WD-40 in the fan. So far that seems to hold it over for another month or so. I have learned that by taking off the sticker, it''s possible to take off the ring around it and actually take the blades off to better get in where the oil should be and re-lube it properly. |
