 Burned Up in 8 months
Went to turn my computer on the other day, and this units Screen was completely blank. The back light works but the LCD itself has apparently failed.even checked to see if a thermister was crossed over, but no. all the cables and PCB''s looks fine.
It also spooled my fans down to a dangerous RPM when it failed.
So i had this unit for about 8 months.(i posted the first review a week after i purchased it)
It worked great while it worked. it may be something i did, but i highly doubt it as it just sat in the 5.25" bay for those months non abused or mistreated. All the fans connected were .15-.25A So no overload there.
It''s a good controller, Just Buyer Beware that it may die. |

 10 months Still working Great!
You hold the B button for four seconds to access the temp/fan adjustment. Press A to adjust the selected Fan speed/warning temp.
Hold B for Seven seconds to adjust the time/date.
Tap A to Change from C to F
Press C to select a temp to monitor. or double tap C to make it scroll between fan/temp again.
10 months this product still works like new. I bought a NZXT monitor also that failed recently. Another Cheaper (bought from newegg) LCD unit also failed in a customers PC. but this one dispite going through two thermisters (my own fault for attempting to wiggle them between heatsink fins) is still going strong. These Types tend to dim over time but the sealed Display i guess helps keep the dust out. Oh its LED and not CCFL like some of the cheap ones. I still recommend this product like the day i bought it. It might not be flashy or have alot of extra functions. But if all you need is a indepedent monitor for your componants then i''d probably choose this one.
This unit is also really thin. Which allows you to stick a HDD or Water resevoir behind it.
Can''t really think of any solid complaints besides the lack of directions. but again just goto the lian-li website and they have a neat flash program explaining (in great detail) about how this unit works.
Theres also a mysterious USB connection on the back. I''ve yet to figure out what it is for but the computer senses it when i gator clipped it to a USB slot.

 Works Pretty good.
is a 3v LED not a 5V, Also Doesnt Function as a HDD led. Don''t Ask me why I don''t know but it doesnt work as one. Functions great on a solid line though. Extremely Bright for its size. |

 Caution, May make your computer bad ass.
Excellent Viewing angle side to side. Large Buttons and a loud speaker. This unit also Changes To red and flashes while emitting a beep when it senses a temp or fan failure. Controls 4 fans easily even high amperage ones. Manual Selection of each temp/fan or a auto scroll feature. Only as 24hr time not 12hr, Fit and finish is Also Excellent. Cables are long and are removable. reads in both F and C. Excellent Value for the money. Lithium ion Battery is included. Also Has Manual or Automatic Fan control. Has 5 total fan speeds from lo/1-5/hi. Worth the money.
Directions are almost complete Crap use lian-li''s main website for directions on how to set the unit up they have a good flash program showing how to. |

There More of a Orange color.
They arn''t as Red as pictured above. more of a orange tone. but the color is as "red" as every other neon i''ve seen. The Cables from the module box to the CCFL''s are quite short.
for 10$ can''t go wrong. Does not incudle the Sound activation unit. |

Excellent buy
Controls 3 fan speeds and displays 3 tempatures. Does not show the Fan RPM''s. Alarm Temp can only be set in C not F. but does display C or F tempatures. Fan speeds are also Adjustable on the fly and has a indicator showing the set speed (1-4) Has a handy thermometer gauge showing how close to max temp you are. east to set. is a True dark Blue glow to match your fans and such. My unit Did Not include a Speaker which is odd. Didn''t have one soldered onto the board either. |

ummm It was dirty, But it worked
my unit came covered in a white dust inside the packaging itself that covered the unit and cable. It functioned fine and the construction was alright. Decent Controller for 10$ Sensitive Reostats for fine adjustment. Might not be able to handle Extremely high draw fans. |

Super fan
These Are Extremely loud. And they''ll take your finger off. But if you absolutely positively Have to Exchange all the air in your Case inside 6 seconds. These are the fans for you. Consider a Light dimmer switch as a fan controller for these.
They do get hot at low rpm''s. |
