 As good as liquid cooling
It''s bigger''n yours! Size does matter in this instance. I''ve got a i7 920 D0 step @1.3v @4GHz in a P6T with HT ON Priming @ 62C, that''s down 24 degrees from the stock cooler where I had the over clock @ only 3.8GHz @ 1.24V. Room ambient @ 21-22C. I''ve got the fans on maximum speed but they generate so little noise I don''t notice them. Quiet. Cold. Imposing! And it comes in any color you want as long as it''s beige! (My idle temps are 22C on my hottest core but that''s with LLC, C1E, and Speedstep enabled, but still impressive performance.) |
