Great value!
This block looks incredible on my Maximus IV Extreme with red tubing, black coils and black compression fittings. The cooling quality is great, but that''s water cooling for you. Any of the blocks at FrozenCPU will cool nicely for you, but if it is a black block you''re looking for, this baby is what you want in your box hands down.
The installation was very simple. The instructions were in plain English with lots of detailed pictures to help one understand what''s going on. The box had everything I needed to get this block installed on my 2600K. I did, however, purchase the optional 115x socket mounting bracket by EK (selectable upon adding to cart).
EK is the Mercedes of water cooling, in my opinion, and along with the ease of installation and great packaging of accessories and installation guides, this is the perfect block for beginners and enthusiasts looking for serious durability and reliability in their water cooling.

Meh
I purchased this to add to my PC repair tool kit, which is just a tool box I have to work on mine and friends'' computers. I installed a pretty "tubular" (get it? Tubular? :p) water-cooling set-up recently, and had just about anything and everything cooled by water, which of course required a lot of tubing. I was hoping for a quicker and easier method of cutting my tubing down to size, so I picked this thing up.
Let me first say that I can be pretty clumsy, however, I had more than one band-aid on after working with this product. The damned thing literally came unhinged more than once, resulting in at least one of the several cuts on my fingers that day. The problem with this thing is there is a small metal clip that conjoins the plastic you see in the picture. Clip to hard, which is very easy to do, and the plastic pieces pop off, exposing the very sharp, box cutter like blade.
Needless to say, this product can easily ruin your day. If you absolutely have to buy tube cutters, go to Home Depot and spend the extra 5 dollars. This product is, in no way shape or form, easier to use than scissors.

I Like!
I wasn''t sure about purchasing these. I have 3 GTX580''s in 3-way SLI, plugged into a Maximus IV-Extreme. I''ve never worked with slot spacers before and was hesitant on their ability to adjust for space, which is necessary in my case, as the 2nd PCI-E slot was spaced closer to the 1st slot as it was to the 3rd, common in 3-way SLI builds.
The mechanics of this spacer are pretty complex, but feel durable and well made. For (as of this review) $12.99, you are getting a fitting that is more than worth its weight. Complex as it was, I figured it out pretty quick and was able to adjust the length to reach all of my cards with no problem.
The reason I''m not giving this product a 5 star is due to the fact that I needed pliers to tighten the fitting enough so that it wouldn''t leak. Hand tightening this is not enough, but if you''re like me, I typically use a tool to tighten all my fittings anyway. Just bear in mind that if you''re using colored fittings to be very careful not to scratch them in the process. I use rubber material or a piece of shoe lace to help brace the tool to the fitting so as not to leave any noticeable scrapes or scratches. Be careful though, especially in fittings like this that are a little leak-prone if not tightened properly, you don''t want to tighten anything TOO much.

Worth it
I purchased three rolls. I only needed half of one roll after everything was installed (cooling CPU & GPU), so I guess I''ll have two more for later builds. I am definitely glad to have it because after seeing this stuff wrapped around all of my red tubing with black compression fittings, I’m hooked for life.
These coils make my system really pop. The contrast with the red tubing really makes my water cooling investment eye catching. No kinks, next to the aesthetics, is just a bonus :) |

Handy
This thing is a simple, easily accessible means to draining water out of your system. There are certainly just as effective and certainly much cheaper methods to draining, but this product is easy and there''s no disconnecting necessary. Place this at the bottom of your loop, unscrew the cap and wait. Good stuff. It is certainly a great bell to add to your other whistles. |

Easy
This is another great product for beginners. I had never considered a redundant pump setup before. I purchased this expecting to have to play with it a little to get it right. When I got this in the mail, the instructions were so easy to understand, and the EK quality of the unit (which feels so expensive in hand) was so well made that I had everything assembled in less than 5 minutes. |

Loud!
These fans will blow the hat off your head. These are really no-joke fans. Install them, and your radiator will love you for it. Only problem is, they''re loud. Very loud. So loud that I''ve been playing on my Xbox, waiting for my more silent replacements to come in from FrozenCPU. So don''t be like me, research the dB rating of your fans. If you''re over-clocking (a lot), these are major league fans that you will probably appreciate. I had them at 20% and they were still as noisy, but moved as much if not more air than your typical radiator fan or silent fan in the 15-20 dBA range at full speed.
Also, while I would rate these fans a perfect 5/5 for their functionality, of the 6 I purchased, 1 of them was broken. The magnet was not holding the fan stable. Still, 5/6 isn’t bad.

Didn''t fit!
I had to modify my 800D to fit this into the bay. The notches were close, but didn''t align right. Possibly a manufacturing error that isn''t consistent at all with my experiences with EK products. Previous reviews indicate the "trickle" sound as a possible bad thing. Really, to be honest, I like it, and it impresses my friends to hear a very faint water effect. I would argue that it trickles by design. The flow meter is great, the look is fantastic, and functionality and easy to access port is awesome. I''m very happy with it. |

Great Pumps!
I was unsure about this product. I originally researched the pump on youtube, trying to get an idea for the overall practicality of the pump in comparison to other pumps. I have two of these in a redundant loop, cooling 3 580''s and a 2600k. My flow is overkill with these pumps, but where you get your money''s worth is in the audible nothingness it provides. They are very quiet, and the adjustable (i''m running at setting 2) speed really helps if you''re only cooling a few components. It is expensive, but you will NOT be disappointed, you owe it to yourself and your PC investment to buy this pump. |
