 One crack and it was no more!
3:15PM Received new Danger Den Premium Tube Cutter
3:17PM Open package
3:18PM Placed my premium UV-Reactive 13mm ID, 19mm tubing in the Danger Den Premium Tube Cutter - designed for 3/4" OD (19mm) tube max
3:19 Pressed down to cut tube, Heard loud crack as the plastic pins holding the blade in place sheared leaving the cutting in bits and the blade wedged in the tube.
3:20 Tossed Danger den Premium cutter in the trash where it belongs.
I suggest that you don''t but this if you intend to use it to cut tubing. |

 Awestruck!
I have never opened a package and felt the warm glow this radiator gave me. The sheer intensity of the all copper Rad is a beautiful thing to behold. Now, I mounted it in the top of a Corsair Obsidian 800D and for any of you wanting to do the same you are going to need to get your Dremel out. The radiator is so long that in order to line up the fans, you have to push it in to the 5.25 bays where the top and may be the second bay read support lugs will obstruct its passage. A quick bit of Dremeling with the diamond cut off disk did the trick. Also If you plan on using noise dampening pads, be careful to ensure that they allow the fans to mate next to each other without any gap.
I am waiting for the remainder of my water cooling system and when I get it, I will update this with further information. |

 Oops not for the rampage 4
I am sure this is a good product but I ran into trouble with the ASUS Rampage 4. The RP4 splits the ram both sides of the CPU. The ram on the PCIe side is rotated 180 degrees from the other side. This means ram is installed so that the airflow II pro has to be mounted with the thicker side obscuring the first and primary PCIe slot due to the ram to pro connector cable lengths

 A tale of two colors
These are great fans quiet and move a lot of air. Unfortunately, for those with Dominator GT red memory, these fans come on their own in blue with clashes with the red of the memory heat sink. It should be noted that a combined fan and memory package is available from corsair where the fan is in red, however; not all size options have the option for the packaged fan. I bought a set of 2gb DDR GT just to get the fan! |
