The Extended Cooling System cools the computer's hardware for 5 minutes after the motherboard has been shut down. This avoids spikes in temperatures due to sudden loss of cooling after shut down.

Features:

• LED will show Green when the computer is on.
• LED will show Red when the computer is off.
• When the computer is off the ECS will run via power from the power supply's 5V rail and run the attached fans slightly slower than usual.
• Since the ECS is powered by the power supply's 5V rail, the ECS will continue running the attached fans for 5 minutes after the computer has shut down.
• Unlike conventional cooling systems that shut off when the computer is turned off, the ECS will continue reducing system temps. after shut down to avoid heat spikes.
