How does your shipping/processing work?
We use Fedex, UPS and USPS for all our shipping needs. What happens is once an order is placed, we see the order on our system. If there are no billing/shipping discrepancies, the order is sent to the warehouse to be packed. Once packed, the package is weighed and labeled and is then ready to be picked up by the shipping couriers. Then once the final pickup is made, the tracking numbers are emailed to all the customers at approximately 8PM EST. Our SAME DAY SHIPPING policy works the following way: If a customer places an order before 4PM EST and all items are in stock, the package is guaranteed to be shipped that night. Any customized order is not guaranteed to ship same day. This applies to any order that has sleeving, a customized case, testing or any other activity that requires the product to removed from its retail packaging and/or modified in anyway. We always try our best, and often succeed in shipping the custom orders on the same day, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee it. Monday and Friday are our high volume days, and custom orders are least likely to ship same day on those days. Please note that if the package cannot go out that night because of lack of stock or other unusual reasons, the customer will be notified at the provided E-mail or phone number(s). I asked for a shipping quote and did not get a response.
Please add the products you are interested in purchasing to your cart. Check the lower portion of the shopping cart page for the
"shipping calculator" Enter your country and zip code. This will give you the approximate shipping rates for the item(s) in your cart. What do I do if my order is damaged during shipping?
Please notify our offices immediately of the damaged shipment. An insurance claim needs to be made, so we only have a small window after it's received to submit this. The first step would be to file a claim with our shipper. The next step would require the shipper to pickup the package for damage inspection. Once the inspection is verified and complete, a replacement of the damaged items will be shipped to the customer. What do I do if my order was shipped at a shipping rate slower than I paid for?
If there is a shipping error and the shipment is shipped out at a slower rate than originally paid for, we will refund the difference in shipping back to the customer. What happens if I refuse my order?
If your order has been shipped and is refused by you at the time of delivery, there will be a non-negotiable 20% restocking fee and a $10.00 refusal fee. Your shipping charges are non-refundable on refused orders. What if my tracking says "delivered" but the package did not arrive?
This situation is uncommon but does happen. If USPS has marked your package delivered please give them a couple days. After the CV19 pandemic, USPS makes scanning mistakes on a regular basis. If you have a package marked delivered from, UPS, Fedex or USPS and the package is not physically at your designated delivery address, you will need to contact the courier and open an investigation. Once a package is marked "delivered" FrozenCPU has no control over the outcome of the package. You the customer paid FrozenCPU for your package, we at FrozenCPU sent out your package the way you ordered it, and according to the tracking the chosen courier delivered the item to your provided address. FrozenCPU is NO LONGER LIABLE! FrozenCPU can NOT file a claim for a package marked "delivered".
This is a rare dilemma of Ecommerce. Once you choose a courier you are TRUSTING that company to bring you the package! What is FrozenCPU Free ground shipping?
FrozenCPU is currently offering free "ground" shipping on domestic orders over $99.99 (Exclusion zones do apply)
Free "ground" means a shipping service of our choice that is most economical. Your order placed with FrozenCPU may read "fedex ground" Or "UPS ground" however this will not always be the shipping method. FrozenCPU will choose the most affordable and applicable method of shipping the package based on the size, weight and cost. Order notes requesting specific couriers for free ground shipping may not be honored. If you absolutely must have a certain courier based on your location, please call our offices to see if this can be arranged. Why does my UPS tracking number say "Exception" as it's status?
If your tracking number has a status of "Exception", then there was a problem with the delivery. You can click "Details" in the tracking website, there will be a brief explanation as to why there was an exception. If you have any questions, please call our offices to resolve the issue. Why is the weight of my item so high?
Shipping couriers currently use what is called "dimensional weight" when calculating how much to charge for carriage.
A 420mm plastic radiator grill may weight less than 1 pound, however the length and width of this item will make it much more costly to ship. The larger the size of the item, the higher the cost, thus the higher the listed weight will be. Our system was originally created when shipping charges were based mainly on weight. As odd as it may sound, programming the website to know the specific size of every item in our warehouse is nearly impossible. Please remember to factor in the cost of packaging materials as we cannot send most items without protection. How do I track my order?
There are two ways to track your order with us. One, is to wait and receive the shipment notification email from our servers. In that email includes a simple notification that your order was shipped and a clickable link to UPS' website/USPS' website with the tracking number/delivery confirmation number respectively. A UPS tracking number provides all basic tracking information such as current location and estimated delivery date. A USPS delivery confirmation number only lets you know if the package has been scanned in and whether it has arrived yet. Another way to track your order is to login to our website and click "View Order History". There it will show all previous orders and to the very right, there is a little barcode you can click. This will provide all necessary tracking information as well. When I email asking for an International shipping quote, why do I get no response?
Our website is designed to be able to quote shipping for not only US based customers but international customers as well. In order to check shipping prices; add your items to the cart, below the cart will be a shipping calculator, enter your country and zip/postal code to see the shipping options and prices for the items in your cart. There is no obligation to buy at this point. Why are the shipping charges so high?
Shipping charges may seem high when the order is very light. For example, a customer may order a few LEDs or a tube of thermal paste and shipping UPS Ground will be approximately $10-12. The reason for this for is not only to cover the base shipping fee (1lb minimum) but to also cover packing materials, boxing and labor. If you have any question or comments about the shipping charge, you can contact our offices via email or by phone. We have added First Class Shipping for items that can ship under 13 oz. This is not for the total weight of your order and could not be for every product under 13 oz. |
