The WING 12 PL features a unique Nanoflux bearing which ensures a friction-free and silent operation. Thanks to the clever design and magnetic bearing the impeller can be detached for an easy cleaning. Additionally fan blade winglets were designed to achieve larger airflow and greater static pressure. Thank to GELID’s Nanoflux Bearing the impeller can be detached and the fan blades can be cleaned easily.
The Nano-technology composite ensures lowest abrasion and extreme durability (MTTF 100’000 hours). Compared to other Magnetic bearings this technology allows the impeller to be detached and thus the fan blades can be cleaned easily.
Even though conventional sleeve and ball bearings currently dominate the fan market however both have their disadvantages. While sleeve bearings have very low noise emissions and are very cost effective, they tend to leak oil; once the oil has dissipated the fan can no longer operate. Ball bearings, on the other hand, while providing longer operating life are costlier, noisier and are prone to damage.
GELID’s Nanoflux bearing uses magnetic flux to limit contact and friction between the bearing and the shaft. High precision self-lubricated material eliminates oil leakage. The result is a ultra quiet long life bearing.
Both models include a PWM Control which keeps the fan silent if no additional cooling is necessary but increases the fan speed whenever additional cooling is required. To give the fans a unique color, a white LED light is embedded into the 120mm green WING 12 PL fan
Includes BLUE LED'S and is Reactive under UV Lighting

I mounted this on my Cooler Master 212 EVO that''s cooling my i7-4770 overclocked to 4.2. Stilling doing the job after 1 year and the fan''s lights are still working also. Would buy again.
Great as PWM or Rad fan05-24-2012

I tried one of these and was delighted with the quality build, features, function. First, I estimate the stated specs to be accurate. 75 cfm, static pressure of 2.66. Your MB can control this one with PWM and black sleeved cables are 50cm. The acoustical claim seems accurate as this is a quiet fan. BTW, I consider around 20dB as silent, around 30 as quiet and 40 and up as just plain noisy. This model is equipped with deep blue LED and the prop material is UV. reactive. The props are also removable for cleaning. There is also a manual speed control in included. I also run 90mm Gelid fans. I think they are all first rate.

Installed three on my radiator and they do a great job. Some how two fans are have a deep blue LED and the third is a noticeably lighter aqua blue LED. Of course this does not effect performance, so I still give them a 5.
