Like a phoenix rising from its ashes, the Apogee™ Drive II integrated pump & waterblock returns to take its place at the helm of Swiftech's CPU waterblock product line. Close to 24 months in the making, it includes all the latest technological advancements that we have to offer:
-Best thermal performance: the Apogee™ Drive II manages to achieve better thermal performance than the award-winning Apogee™ HD.
-Best hydraulic performance: thanks to the integrated, PWM controlled MCP35X pump, which has established itself as the best-in-class pump on the market, the Apogee™ Drive II is the world's only waterblock that can be considered as a flow enhancing device, as opposed to a flow-robbing device.
-Best retention mechanism: proven time and again to satisfy beginners and hard-core enthusiasts alike for its ease of use, reliability, and repeatable results.
-Compact form factor enables liquid cooling in space constrained applications.
-Adjustable G1/4 inlet and outlet ports, compatible with all compression fittings.
-Illuminated logo in 3 colors: Red, Blue, or green.

Man this thing moves some water. Quality construction. mirror finish on the block. running prime95 on a 8350 at 54c clocked at 5Ghz (239x21/1.89v)

I have been running this pump with a Phobya Balancer 150 Reservoir, Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper Dual 140mm Radiator Koolance GPU-210 High Performance VGA / Chipset Liquid Cooling Block about 9hrs a day for 8 months now absolutely no issues to this date. There are some clearance issues with the ram on my msi 990fx coupled with the monsoon compression fittings. MOBO does not automatically control the speed. I initially used the msi control center to control the speed in relation to the temps but the software was not the most stable or predictable solution so i switched to speed fan, i configured it once and popped that bad boy in the start up menu and have not had any issue. The only time i hear the pump is at start up and that''s only for a minute max. It does become more audible at around 50% to 60% of its max speed and that without a lot of ambient noise. Pretty good buy if you ask me.

Impressive pump. The pump becomes more audible at about 50%, if you are going to be using this with a fan controller i strongly suggest getting a 4pin PWM to a 3 pin converter cable. The pwm function did not play well with my MOBO (msi 990fxa)so i started using speedfan to control the speed of the pump in correlation with the temp.
Great product, some space issues, not much.12-30-2012

This product is amazing in that even if you have a high flow system and it''s pump is weaker than your systems flow, it still reduces flow restriction. Mine came with the bracket and fastening twists broken off, but it really doesn''t matter in the slightest because the bracket lays over the pump arms, so once I tighten it, it fastens over the pump and holds it on :P The only complain I can think of is that it''s in and out ports on my MoBo make RAM cooling tricky. Just be sure there is a tid bit of spare room on the ends perpendicular to the mounting brackets.

This thing is great, I am using this with an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX and I had no issues fitting it on the board. I have the pump hooked up to the boards PWM connector and the pump speed stays low and very quiet but when the need for more flow arises this pump can really move some water, although at full speed the noise level is noticeable. I like the fact that you can adjust the in and out flow ports up and down to fit your needs, and I also like the color plates that come with the pump again for a more custom fit to your system. The bad, when I received my pump the mounting brackets where not usable they have tiny little nut plates that are pressed in to the bracket to secure it to the pump, mine where pushed out and stripped so I couldn`t mount it. I contacted Swiftech and they without question sent me a set of replacement brackets, so if you have any problems just contact them they will take care of you.
