Fully Automated KSD9700 Series Thermal Switch - 40° Threshold is an inline thermal temperature controller. This switch reacts only to thermal affects and requires no electricity to operate.

KSD9700 series heat protector is made up of heat conducting metal/plactic cover,bottom plate, reed, moving contact,seat base,static contact,guide wire,double-metal act components,if the current increases or the environment temperature rise and temperature reaches the preset value,the bimetal component will work and release the contact to shut off the circuit,and by contrast, if the device cools down to the safe temperature,the contact point will reset automatically.

Shut Off Temperature can vary and is normally 2/3 of threshold ±5°.
