The world's first high-tech compact fan with patented Bionic rotor loop is from Germany. Developed with the support of the Federal Economics Ministry and the bionic Dr. Rudolf Bannasch we make with the NB-ELOOP series against the currently most advanced fan in the world. The NB-ELOOP series sets new records in almost every category and convinced by our quality product. Newly developed storage and drive as well as the tried-NB cable management and a 12-piece mounting for vibration-free mounting complement the overall unique setup.
The new design eliminates the edge of the vertebrae are formed between the suction and pressure side of the wing tips. The tip vortices are here broken down into smaller vortex edge and spread evenly. The resulting at the blade trailing edge tip vortex can be reduced by vorticity guides to a minimum. The result is a significant improvement in glide ratio which leads to a reduction of the aerodynamic flow induced noise and improves energy efficiency.

Well Designed Fan with few shortcomings02-04-2013

Pros: This fan has a detachable cable - perfect for me because I was able to plug in a BitFenix Alchemy sleeved fan cable straight into the fan for a nice clean look. The wind noise is very minimal, the design worked in that regard. Does seem a bit unbalanced, can cause a good bit of vibration but its at a very slow frequency and is inaudible over a hacked BIOS Gigabyte GTX 660 ti with fanspeed at 25% and a few other high quality fans at 500 RPM. Cons: Very very loud if used in a Pull configuration, makes a noise like a jet engine but obviously much quieter. Overall a very good fan, I have 3 of them in my Shinobi XL and they are doing just fine in a horizontal position, none have any odd ticking or motor noise which is a nice quality. The only other fans I have bought which have been devoid of bearing or motor noise at ALL RPM ranges have been my Noctua P14s which are quite loud at full speed but do a great job operating between 400-900 RPM very quietly. I recommend this fan!
