Koolance's inline flow meter provides a visual and electronic indicator of real-time coolant flow rate. Uses G 1/4 BSPP threads. INS-FM19 is electronically identical to INS-FM17N, but has an external metal shell for greater durability.
A frequency circuit (sold separately) multiplies the RPM signal to allow it to be read by most fan tachometer headers (such as those found on ATX motherboards). This signal is intended to allow fan detection software (including BIOS) to enable the appropriate alarm or shutdown procedure if the flow meter impeller stops rotating. The "RPMs" represent approximate flow meter coolant in mL/min, and not revolutions.

This thing just works. I tried to check the accuracy and it''s within 0.04 gal/min to actual flow. So certainly good enough. Have it hooked up to my CW611, and it works great. Will stop reporting flow below 0.2 gal/min on my CW611. You must do the follwing for best accuracy: - Not install directly to the pump. - Not directly to a block - Best accuracy when vertically mounted, with a tubing on both in and out. Away from any rads, blocks, or anythung else. Tubing on both ends will insure less flow distortion for more accurate reading. Can be connected to mobo, or any other fan rpm connector. But you need to buy adapter. Useless with said adapter.
