Tygon E-3603 is now phthalate-free. Crystal clear and flexible, long lasintg and crack resistant, the new Tygon S E-3603 non-DEHP tubing delivers the same superior performance you come to expect, but now in a formulation that contains non-DEHP plasticizers. Tygon brand tubing is the finest in quality for water cooling tubing available. This 3/8" ID, 1/2" OD model of tubing is specifically formulated to withstand aging, corrosion and kinking/bending. (wall thickness 1/16" / total wall thickness 1/8") What makes Tygon brand tubing famous is it's extreme flexibility. Compared to regular PVC tubing, Tygon tubing will not bend at a much greater angle and still maintain 100% flow which makes this tubing simply ideal for the close quarters of a water cooled case. Long-lasting and crack-resistant, Tygon Laboratory Tubing is less permeable than rubber tubing. The glassy-smooth inner bore helps prevent buildup so that cleaning is facilitated. Coils are marked at 1-foot intervals for easy measuring. Autoclavable. Remains flexible at -45°F (43°C). Durometer hardness: Shore A, 55. Each quantity ordered equals 1 foot in length. For example, if a quantity of 3 is ordered, we will send you a 3 foot length.

Very flexible

This tubing is super flexible and won''t tug on your components. Like others have said, though, if you need less than maybe a 6" radius, it will kink unless you use some anti-kink coils. It did get slightly stained from the dye in the coolant, too, but I''ve run these tubes for 10 years and they''re still as flexible as they were on day one.
Exactly what i was looking for

First, yes this stuff is soft. If you require tight bends, get a corner form or anti-kink to keep it from kinking or get the thicker walled stuff. But for me, this stuff is amazing. Super easy to work with, crystal clear, and priced well enough.
Very easy to work with

This tubing does kink easily when alone but that''s obvious when you look at its thin wall ultra flexible design. I planned ahead and bought the coil spring sleeves which allow much tighter bends. The ease of slipping this tubing on and off connectors has made reconfiguring my system with koolance compression fittings a snap. I suggest putting some clear lube on the tube where the compression collar turns to keep the tube from twisting with the collar.
Not quite what was advertised

This Kink-proof tubing isn''t kink proof at all. I have to cut out two 2 foot sections and replace them with something better. Not highly recommended.
Kinks

I agree with the first poster. I''ve had this tubing for about 2 years -- over time it has collapsed in on itself and does feel very flimsy. The bright side is it is flexible, but if it fully kinks, it could destroy your pump and components if the system is running. I need to find something stronger. I''d gladly give up flexibility for more sturdiness.
