This card well give you two USB 3.0 ports at the rear of the case plus it has a multi pin header for adding a USB 3.0 bay devise.
My 990fxa mobo had two internal headers and I needed one additional header. This EC04 does that, the drivers work with XP-32 and with Win7-64. The data path is as fast as the embedded USB on my mobo. I liked enough to buy a second one for my XP box.
Good support from SilverStone, I had a minor issue with the XP install and CS got back to me within 24hrs. They solved the issue.
